Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Has A Runtime Of Almost Three Hours

On May 5, 2023, the third episode of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 is scheduled for release. We shall therefore see Chris Pratt in his Star-Lord role for this Marvel film immediately following the Mario movie. When Batman was first released, everyone recalls learning that it had a 3-hour running time. It required a significant amount of time commitment from many viewers, and it appears that Guardians 3 will be no different.

James Gunn, the film's director, recently said that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3's running time will be "longer than 1 & 2," which many fans already knew the length of. They had no idea, though, how long it would last. As this will be the last film to feature the entire Guardians cast, we already knew it would be intense and emotional, but now that websites have begun to list the film, we have been promised an even lengthier film. The longest-running Marvel Studios films are listed here, including both Guardians of the Galaxy films.

  • Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – 2 hours, 41 minutes
  • Eternals – 2 hours, 36 minutes
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – 2 hours, 29 minutes
  • Avengers: Infinity War – 2 hours, 29 minutes
  • Spider-Man: No Way Home – 2 hours, 28 minutes
  • Captain America: Civil War – 2 hours, 27 minutes
  • The Avengers – 2 hours, 23 minutes
  • Avengers: Age of Ultron – 2 hours, 21 minutes
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – 2 hours, 17 minutes
Although while Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 doesn't quite have the three hours that some fans may have been looking for, it still has a lot more screen time than the first installment in the trilogy. So, we'll have enough time to spend with the Guardians. Who knows what we might be getting from this movie, though, given that it's billed as "emotional." Yet, ideally it won't be as tragic as Endgame.
